It is always a great opportunity to come together as warriors of conservation under one roof to tackle various issues of conservation and to learn from each other. CCB’s education officer Mr. Britz Malepe had a three day skills exchange visit at Painted Dog Conservation (PDC) in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park to share ideas about conservation education and how best to engage with youth about wildlife. The visit provided Mr. Malepe with first hand information on how PDC runs their education programmes and the secret ingredients they have for the programme to be successful. Exchange trips are very important in building partnerships and collaborations as conservation and environmental organisations with the same mandate and we believe that we will set the pace with our very own education activities with what we learned from PDC. All thanks to the team at PDC for hosting us once again!
